What is ConvertEasy?
A free converter and calculator from lowkey.tools: units, live currency and crypto rates, exact crypto decimals, dates and time zones, cooking measures and number bases, plus a smart calculator that understands units. It is built by Shrinath Prabhu, from the makers of OwlEye Analytics.
Is ConvertEasy free?
Yes, completely. There is no account, no adverts and no paid tier.
What makes the calculator different?
You type math with units: 1 cm + 1 m = 1.01 m, 5 ft 11 in to cm, $20 + €15 in INR. Suggestions under the box offer units of the same kind and valid operators as you type, and the answer unit is a dropdown.
Where do exchange rates come from?
Coinbase's public feed (live, fiat and crypto), with CoinGecko, currency-api and the European Central Bank as fallbacks. Your browser fetches them directly; there is no ConvertEasy server.
Does it work offline?
Yes. ConvertEasy is a progressive web app: after your first visit it keeps working with no connection, and you can install it to your home screen from the browser menu.
Does ConvertEasy track me?
No cookies and no account. Preferences, history and the last exchange rates are kept in your own browser storage.
