How is the GBP to EUR rate calculated?
ConvertEasy fetches live rates for every currency against the US dollar, then divides: GBP→EUR = (GBP in USD) ÷ (EUR in USD). The primary source is Coinbase's public exchange-rate feed, with currency-api and the European Central Bank (via Frankfurter) as fallbacks.

Why is my bank's GBP to EUR rate different?
These are mid-market reference rates. Banks, card networks, remittance services and exchanges add a spread and sometimes a fee, so the rate you are offered is usually a little worse.
Does the currency converter work offline?
